Kevin Crabbe

Kevin is an engineer at Pear, where he solves problems across investing, founder support, and internal infrastructure.

Before joining Pear, Kevin was the fifth engineer at Laurel.ai and worked as a software engineer at Labelbox, Patreon, and Tekion. He studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at UC Berkeley.

Kevin has always been drawn to startups and tends to approach problems by trying to understand how all the pieces fit together. He enjoys going deep on new subjects, experimenting with ideas, and building things from scratch.

Outside of work, Kevin spends a lot of time cooking and almost never follows a recipe exactly. Growing up partly around Peruvian culture gave him an early appreciation for food, and today he likes discovering new restaurants and trying to recreate what he finds at home, often mixing ideas from different cuisines. He is also a Warriors fan and can frequently be found at the park with his dog or working on side projects with his girlfriend.
