Pedram is an angel investor and technology advisor. He’s passionate about investing in new tech with the potential to transform how we live. He started his career as an engineer at Google working on orkut.com (a social networking product) before joining Facebook in 2007 as a founding engineer of the Site Integrity Team and eventually, Engineering Director. He then joined Uber, where he and scaled the Growth Engineering Team from 20 to 250 and opened an office in India.
As a Visiting Partner at Pear, Pedram works alongside founders to think through team growth, technology tradeoffs, scaling teams, and technology. He loves spending time with founders with big ideas and a passion for building teams and technology that have a big impact.
Pedram lives in the Bay Area with his family. He holds a B.S. from Santa Clara University and an M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University.
