Jenny leads marketing and communications for Pear and supports founders on their storytelling and go-to-market efforts.

Jenny’s career began far from startups and venture capital. After college, she worked as a paralegal at a corporate law firm where she wrangled more legal documents than she could count. She then considered a career in academia, spending two years in grad school studying U.S. cultural history before finding her way into tech.

She’s since built and scaled brand, content, and comms programs at hypergrowth startups like Asana, Clearbit, Dropbox, and Yammer.

Prior to joining Pear, Jenny led content marketing at Vanta where she expanded the company’s content strategy to fuel global upmarket expansion. At Asana, Jenny led and scaled go-to-market content programs to support the company’s trajectory from Series B through its direct listing as a public company.

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Jenny lives in Oakland with her husband and their maltipoo, Bouclé. She holds a BA and MA in History from the University of California, Berkeley.
