What is your most used emoji?
I believe in fast product cycles, launching frequently, and nerding out. So:
❤️ (⌐⊙_⊙ 🎉. Nothing quite like ASCII-emojis for self-expression.
What’s your favorite book?
I go back to Crossing the Chasm by Geoffrey Moore time and again. It's a good framework for thinking about what's next for your startup, and therefore what you should be investing in from a user, roadmap and market perspective.
What career path did you want to pursue when you were a kid?
I wanted to be an astronaut, and studied physics seriously through high school and undergrad. I enjoy anything space related.
What are your favorite sports teams?
The Golden State Warriors of course and to an extent the Lakers. I love seeing them play each other at Chase Center!
What are your hobbies outside of work?
Ballroom dance! I've taken all the social dance classes at Stanford and performed with the Academy of Dance Libre. I'm a regular at Friday Night Waltz in Palo Alto. My favorite dance is the Bohemian National Polka ❤️
