Annie was raised in Southern California by two refugee parents. She earned her B.S. in Human Biology from Stanford University and found herself unexpectedly swept up by tech amid the 2008 recession.
Annie began her career at Facebook, where she led communications for business products through the company’s IPO. She later became the product lead for Professional Project Experience at Thumbtack and then spent nearly a decade at Pinterest. There, she held multiple product management roles and ultimately became Head of Inclusive Product, leading teams that developed computer vision AI, recommendation systems, and UX experiences.
Annie was last a consultant at Penknife Collective and lives in the East Bay with her husband, two kids, and their sheepadoodle, Pepperoni.
