Katie joined Pear’s Finance team in March 2024, bringing nearly 20 years of experience from her time at InterWest Partners, where she oversaw cash management and financial accounting for limited and general partnerships.
Before entering the venture capital industry, Katie worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, leading financial statement audits for venture capital clients. She is a licensed CPA and holds a B.A. in Business Economics with an accounting emphasis from UC Santa Barbara.

What’s your favorite book?
I have three active boys so unfortunately, I am not spending as much time reading as I would like! The most recent book I read was Lessons in Chemistry.
What career path did you want to pursue when you were a kid?
I am not sure I had much of a plan but I have always loved math!
What are your favorite sports teams?
Giants, 49ers, Warriors!
What are your hobbies outside of work?
I enjoy trips to Tahoe and spending time with my family. I can be found chaperoning school field trips and watching my children’s sporting events. I also enjoy cooking and baking with my family. In my free time, I enjoy a walk or a spin class with my friends. I am on the Board of Field Middle School, which provided a magical middle school experience for my oldest son: fieldmiddle.org.
